Inside Sales Account Manager

Through our 60-year history, Gemlux has become one of the world’s leading stainless steel marine and boat hardware suppliers. We are looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager to join our team.

- Proactively engage customers to gauge feedback and better
ascertain their needs

- Be able to resolve product or service issues by clarifying the
problem; Determine the cause of the problem, offer the best solution to resolve
the issue, and follow up to ensure the customer is satisfied with the
resolution.

- Manage a large number of inbound calls and e-mails relating to

- Work in conjunction with outside sales team to increase business
while providing assistance to them while on the road meeting with customers

- Responsible for inventory management and allocation

- Work closely with the shipping department to ensure orders are
prioritized on a daily basis

- Monitor daily sales numbers while working with sales manager to
ensure company goals are met

- Provide knowledgeable information regarding our products while
providing a personal and enjoyable GEM experience

 

 

Requirements:

- Very friendly, outgoing, reliable, pro-active, courteous, and dedicated to customer service

- Attention to detail and very organized

- College degree preferred

- Team oriented

- Shows excellent communication skills (Phone, e-mails, live chat)

- Proficient computer skills, organizational skills, and familiar
with Microsoft Excel

- Comfortable with data entry

- Ability to retain technical product knowledge and present this
information to the customer.

Wholesale Account Manager

We are looking to hire an Account Manager for the wholesale segment of our business. This person will be responsible for maintaining existing relationships as well as developing new relationships between GEM and boat dealerships, tackle stores and marine service centers. They will also be responsible for the introduction of new and existing products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele.  

 ·Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.

· Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.

·Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.

·Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.

·Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.

·Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.

·Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.

·Regular travel of the territory is required, up to 50%

·Based in Jacksonville, FL at the GEMLUX Headquarters 

Required Skills/Abilities:

·Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

·Excellent sales and negotiation skills.

·Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

·Sport-fishing or marine experience is a plus.

·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

·Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

 

Education and Experience:

·Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR at least three years of related experience required.
