Special Projects Coordinator

Works directly with GEMLUX Team Members, Key Customers, and Key suppliers to coordinate amazing growth experiences. Job Description:

• Work directly with Special Projects Manager to lead key initiatives for the Chief Executive Officer

• Help manage an extremely demanding schedule and workload in multiple locations

• Provide technical support and help facilitate new product development

• Work directly with sales, customer service, engineering, warehouse, finance, and marketing teams to enhance their understanding of our products and to develop new products for the industry

• Plan and deliver amazing development experiences at offsite retreats for employees, key customers, suppliers, and shareholders

• Help manage, maintain, repair, and improve the value of our facilities, vessels, and equipment

• Transport marine vessels by the trailer and by the ocean so they can be used in industry and company events

• Assist with field testing new products both inshore and offshore

• Provide habitat and structural maintenance at offsite retreat locations, which may involve the use of heavy equipment (ex: tractors)

• Job is based in Jacksonville, FL at GEMLUX Headquarters but will require extensive travel

Special Project Coordinator Job Requirements:

• Resourceful, reliable, trustworthy, and very motivated team player with an outgoing personality who is actively involved in all areas of the company

• Has a unique ability to get things accomplished, on time, and with superior results that benefit all involved parties

• Builds long-lasting trust and loyalty with everyone inside and outside of GEMLUX

• Ability to work at all levels of the organization possesses strong self-awareness, and able to communicate effectively in person and in writing 

• Extensive knowledge of offshore fishing, woodsmanship, and experience professionally guiding is strongly preferred

• Substantial marine vessel operating experience; Captain’s license is preferred

• Work experience in construction or manufacturing. Trade skills are a big plus. Ability to manage subcontractors and projects.

• Experience operating farm equipment or heavy machinery is helpful

• Capable of working in a job that is physically demanding at times, must be able to lift, carry, pull and push up to 75 lbs. repeatedly

• Ability to work for extended time periods in an outdoor environment, including sun, heat, cold, wind, rain, both on land and at sea

• Able to travel overnight both domestically and internationally, including over weekends and holidays

• Valid driver’s license and a clean background

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in an outdoor industry

Inside Sales Account Manager

Job Description:

• Cultivate relationships with existing clients to maximize client satisfaction, retention, and growth

• Grow existing product offerings with key accounts while introducing new product opportunities.

• Ensure the highest level of customer service resulting in increased productivity and achieving sales goals

• Proactively engage customers to gauge feedback and better ascertain their needs

• Be able to resolve product or service issues by clarifying the problem; Determine the cause of the problem, offer the best solution to resolve the issue, and follow up to ensure the customer is satisfied with the resolution.

System Administrator II

The ideal candidate should be an organized, motivated individual with a strong latitude in ability to handle daily tasks and responsibilities. Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are a must.The primary responsibility of this position will be to support users and company operations utilizing experience and technology. This includes being the primary point of contact for user support and troubleshooting, responsible for the regular monitoring and maintenance of company equipment/systems, and the expectation of learning/developing/implementing company operations and processes. Communication, collaboration, and coordination with all departments and employees will be required. This position reports to Director of Information Technology.

Job Description:

• NetSuite administration and development

• Primary point of contact for user support, questions, and issues

• Provide assistance to or lead projects handled by IT

• Review, recommend, and implement improvements to current processes, technology, and tools

• Documentation of network and technology infrastructure

• Server and workstation upgrades and maintenance

• Consolidation of disparate cloud and local services

• Improve company IT infrastructure to better help the company prepare for future growth, and to help make current processes more efficient  

System Administrator II Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or combined equivalent work experience in the following areas:

• Netsuite development and administration

• VMWare ESXi administration

• Apple Mac OSX & iOS support

• Windows server administration

• User support and/or help desk

• IT infrastructure, system, network, and user administration

• Server virtualization

• Windows device troubleshooting and repair

• HTML and other Web technologies


Other valuable experience might include:


• Reporting and analytics
