We’ve designed a new lightweight proprietary carbon fiber-blend 17’ internally-rigged outrigger tuned for optimal performance with our new Deluxe Base. They have the same AFTCO rollers, 3K carbon weave finish, and AWLGRIP coating as our Bluewater Internal series outriggers. These outriggers can be double-rigged.
This is for a pair of outrigger poles only. Bases not included.
The -O2 adapter option is designed to fit our Deluxe Base system. It may also fit other 1.5" bases, such as the Taco 280."
I swapped out my 1980"s style outriggers for the GemLux Deluxe Outrigger bases and 17 feet carbon internal poles. I had looked at several bases and decided on these because they didn't extend too far down (Im not tall . but have a few tall friends that would have gotten concussions from the longer ones hanging below the hardtop). Very simple to install, and use, shipping was fact and the packaging was really nice - I was concerned about the arrival of 17 ft carbon fiber poles, but they put as much engineering into packaging as they did design.
I also added the exterior rigged carbon fiber center rigger (with 45deg CF base) and rigging kits. Really updated my 1989 Rybo. Now to go fishing!
