We are introducing our "Fly" shade in conjunction with our outrigger base systems. This shade takes seconds to put up and allows for shade in the front or back of your boat. The shade is easy to put away and store in a small space on your boat. This shade comes with two eye straps (part number 1475) to adhere to your T-Top for the shade to attach to.
Why black shade? The color is the most UV stable; therefore, it will last and look great on your boat for years to come.
We design all aft-mounted shades to be usable at cruising speeds of 20-25mph. Although experience in the field has shown that they can be reliable at much higher speeds, please understand that higher speed brings higher stress on all components and is likely to shorten your shade system's service life. Shades mounted forward of the T-Top are intended primarily for use when moored or at idle speeds below ten mph.

We just purchased a new/used boat and really wanted the Fly Shade, but weren’t ready to replace our bases and outriggers after just purchasing a new boat. We ended up buying the Gemlux 18’ Deluxe Outriggers to use with our existing Taco bases and a medium fly shade. The fly shade has plenty of adjustment and works perfectly with our Taco bases. Once installed it takes 2 minutes to setup and provides great shade and can be used underway at lower speeds. Highly

Awesome Shade. Easy to Install!
We couldn’t be happier with our purchase of the GemLux fly shade. It’s super easy to install on the outriggers and you don’t need any extra poles. Just clip onto the out rigger rings and you’re done! Fabric is great quality, with a little bit of stretch which gives it just enough tension and slack. Highly recommend this product for someone looking for an easy solution to get some extra boat shade on their fishing machine.
