Garboard Boat Drain Plugs NPT With Lanyard

The standard brass one’s that are on most average sized boats and the replacements you can get at academy or bass pro, etc. are ok. But, if over time the thru hull hole has increased slightly, this is the one you need. The flange is a couple millimeters bigger around and the screw holes are more slightly towards the outside from the center. Which is a bonus cause you can align these new holes differently for a solid hold and the hub through the transom will fill the hole slightly better. And the o-ring in the drain plug is so simple but absolutely genius. Highly recommended.

My old brass drain wasn’t cutting it so I upgraded now plug is water tight and easier to remove…. Looks a lot better too!

Really can’t say enough about Gemlux quality! It was a little small compared to the one that it replaced, but all worked out well. Wish the cable was longer to attach in a more convenient place.

I love this stainless steel drain plug and wish all boats came with this feature. If you trailer your boat, this plug is perfect to install and remove without tools. The replaceable o-ring provides a leak proof seal. Just add a stainless split ring to the end of the cable and no worries about loosing the plug while it is out.
